Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War

1 As it has been with many of my Brothers, I am humbled and awed to be elected

to stand before you as Camp Commander for 2011. Thank you all for this opportunity

to serve. Thank you to Past Camp Commander Douglas McMillin for his

dedication and commitment to our Camp for the past year.

My congratulations to PA Dept. Auxiliary President Ann McMillin for her success

and I look forward to working with her in 2011 as she continues in the post

of Jennie Wade Auxiliary President.

2 Headquarters for the Commander’s Office for the year will be at 5 Jane Ln,

3 Membership dues remain $40 for 2011. They are due now and should be sent

to Secretary/Treasurer Robert Dorsey.

Let’s all work together to make this first year of the Civil War Sesquicentennial

one in which we honor our ancestors by demonstrating how we who have taken

the oath of membership uphold that oath.
