A New Year’s resolution

I will champion a deep sense of gratitude for the nation we’ve inherited: Start by developing the awareness of the price that’s been paid by countless patriots, civilian and military, who have labored and toiled to pass on this great land of liberty. If we don’t fully grasp the “why” (the reasons we should fight and make our own sacrifices for this nation) then we can never expect to have the necessary commitment, zeal and discipline to persevere in this endeavor.
